BICYCLING MEMBERS FROM ACROSS THE U.S. LOGGED HUNDREDS OF MILES IN PACTIMO’S GEAR THAT HELPS BATTLE SWEAT. HERE IS WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY.
In our latest round of Bicycling’s Member Field Test, Karen W. of Oakland, California, one one member who tested out Pactimo’s Summit Aero Jersey ($164) and SL Base Layer ($75), both of which feature a mesh honeycomb texture to help with moisture and heat on warmer rides. “It felt dry even after rides where I did sweat quite a bit. Other base layers and jerseys are still wet when I get home after a warm-weather ride, [leaving] white salt rings on my jerseys. This did not happen with the Pactimo jersey.”
The key to this mesh in each is the use of 37.5® Technology. The sustainable particles in this mesh aim to better help control moisture and humidity to keep you dry, comfy, and performing at your peak. In fact, an independent study done on the technology at CU Boulder found wearing this apparel helped athletes perform more than 20 percent better in tests.
